Phil Jenkins

Phil Jenkins is Chelsea, Quebec-based author and performing songwriter. He has written for various magazines, including National Geographic Traveller, Equinox, and Heritage Canada and Ottawa Magazine. Jenkins has also written four books of non-fiction -- two of them national bestsellers -- including a history of the St. Lawrence River and a ghost-written memoir of George Mercer Dawson. He currently writes on interesting city rooms for the Ottawa Citizen. He has also recently released a CD, CarTunes, with the band Riverbend.
