Traductrice, conseillère littéraire et dramaturgique, Linda Gaboriau a traduit plus de 90 pièces de théâtre. Son travail lui a valu plusieurs nominations et prix prestigieux. Elle a également traduit, entre autres, les essais, L'œil américain de Pierre Morency et Notes américaines/Parcours d'un écrivain de Marie-Claire Blais et le roman, Un vent se lève qui éparpille de Jean Marc Dalpé. Elle anime régulièrement des ateliers de traduction, des résidences et des échanges internationaux et de 2002 au 2007, elle était la directrice fondatrice du Centre international de traduction littéraire de Banff.

LINDA GABORIAU has translated some 90 plays from French, including the works of some of Quebec's most prominent playwrights. She has been short-listed five times for the Governor General's Award for Translation and won the award in 1996 for Stone and Ashes, her translation of Cendres de cailloux by Daniel Danis. The Tarragon Theatre (Toronto) production of Scorched, her translation of Wajdi Mouawad’s play Incendies, is touring across Canada in the 2008-2009 season.
